Independent Marine Surveyor and Technical Consultancy
RASGO is an independent marine surveyor and technical consultancy supporting owners, managers, and insurers across Europe.
RASGO operates where technical decisions carry significant consequences. We work alongside owners, managers, insurers, and yards in situations where condition, risk, cost, and execution intersect, often under pressure and with incomplete information.
Our work includes survey, superintendency, and consultancy, but the common thread is discipline. We establish facts, clarify constraints, and enable informed decisions within assigned roles. We do not blur responsibility, nor do we optimise on paper at the expense of reality.
RASGO engagements are shaped by practical experience from incidents, repairs, dockings, and disputes. That experience informs how information is structured before decisions are made and how execution conditions are understood as work progresses. Behind the scenes, our thinking is intentionally critical. We challenge assumptions, test plans against real-world failures, and seek what is missing rather than what is convenient. Not to decide for others, but to reduce surprise, loss, and hindsight. We believe robust decisions are those made with open eyes and remain justifiable when circumstances change. We believe robust decisions are seldom the most optimistic, but they are the ones that endure.
Where we come from
Jesper Krogh is the founder of RASGO and a marine engineer with more than 27 years of industry experience across sea-going service and senior shore-based technical roles.
His work includes marine surveys, dry dock supervision, and technical advisory for complex operational decisions.
His background includes technical management of oil, gas, and chemical carriers, as well as advanced offshore drilling units. His work has centred on vessel performance, dry dock execution, major repairs, casualty response, and complex technical decisions under commercial pressure.
RASGO operates as a principal-led advisory platform. Assignments are executed directly by the founder, with controlled scalability through aligned specialists when scope requires.
